Abstract
Objective: This study was conducted to identify the predictable factors influenced on korean elders' depression levels by using (Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging) KLoSA research.

Methods: This study was analyzed by potential growth models of 3,971 people aged over 65 through 1st, 2nd and 3rd study according to KLoSA data.

Results: Sociodemographic variable affecting the depression change in the elderly seems to be caused by age and gender. Physical, mental and health variables appear to be caused by recognition function and the number of chronic diseases. And health variable looks like a cause of smoking in deed.

Conclusion: Interventions are needed to reduce the depression in the elderly through predictable factors that can affect to the elderly depression.
